Citroen to launch 2011 DS4 in Australia in December

Citroen is planning to launch its 2011 Citroen DS4 model in the Australian market in December this year, soon after the Citroen C4 hatchback model, which is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of this year.

The new Citroen DS4 will be the second model in company’s DS line of cars, besides DS3, in the Australian market.

The automaker has not released details about what the Australian model would comprise. However, an official from Citroen’s Australian distributor, Ateco has indicated that the model will offer a choice between a petrol and diesel engine.

The company is planning to offer three models; DSign, DStyle and DSport and a choice from three petrol engines and two diesel engines for the customers in the UK market.
